Drugs and Alcohol Use Led to 27-Year-Old Yorkville Man’s Death: Report

Justin Ludolph's body was found badly decomposed in his Yorkville home in June.

The chronic use of drugs and alcohol led to the death of a 27-year-old Yorkville man whose badly decomposing body was found in his home last month, according to a report in the Aurora Beacon.

Justin Ludolph, of the 100 block of Bertram Drive, was found June 17 when a bank sent a locksmith to the home to change the locks as the property was entering foreclosure, said Yorkville police. He is thought to have been dead for at least eight months before his body was discovered.

The Kendall County Coroner’s said that “chronic narcotism” was the cause of death, said the Beacon.

A synthetic chemical that was likely ordered online was found in Ludolph’s system, said the Coroner’s office. It could not be determined if the chemical, called Flight 300, was cause for an overdose, according to the Beacon

The coroner’s office said that Ludolph’s lifestyle of drug and alcohol use was the cause for his death.
