Deputies Arrest Man for Domestic Battery at Hide-A-Way-Lakes Campground

Kendall County Sheriff's report for Nov. 10

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Thomas K. Hogan, 61, for domestic battery.

According to information provided by the sheriff’s office, On Nov. 10 deputies responded to calls from a neighbor of Hogan at the Hide-A-Way Lakes Campground and arrested Hogan for assaulting his wife. Other charges brought against Hogan include Interfering with the Reporting of a Domestic Battery, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Aggravated Assault and Obstructing a Peace Officer.

Sheriff’s Deputy Craig French said Hogan had a knife on his person when he was arrested, but did not use it in the assault on his wife.

Hogan maintains a camp site at Hide-A-Way Lakes, French said.
