July 20
DUI
Gene Rios, 24, of Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence after an accident at about 2:50 a.m. July 20 at Route 71 and East Highpoint Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office release. Rios left the road and ended up in a ditch on the south side of Route 71, reports said. Rios was also cited with improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured vehicle, the sheriff’s office said.

Holly Beth Fester, 29, of 12475 Fox Road, Yorkville, was charged with domestic battery after throwing a notebook at someone at about 11 a.m. July 22 while at the Kendall County Courthouse, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Linda Lawrence, 49, of the 0-99 block of Hubbard Way, Montgomery, was charged with domestic battery at about 9:30 p.m. July 25 after hitting a family member, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. She was taken to the Kendall County Jail.

Disorderly conduct at campgrounds
Henry Joseph Safranek, 46, of Brookfield, was charged with disorderly conduct at about 6:45 p.m. July 26, at Hideaway Lakes Campground, 8045 Van Emmon Road, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Reports state Safranek was highly drunk and disturbing others at the campground.
Speeding 40 mph over the limit
Christopher James Douglas, 32, of Plainfield, was charged with speeding 40 mph over the limit at about 5 p.m. July 26 at Ridge and Caton Farm Road, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Douglas was clocked doing 87 mph in a 45 mph zone, the sheriff’s report said.
Domestic battery
Troy Rieser, 46, of 3 Fieldpoint, Montgomery, was charged with domestic battery at about 6:15 p.m. July 26, at his home, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. It’s alleged that Rieser hit a family member, according to reports.
July 27
Cyclist runs into car
A 50-year-old Montgomery man ran his bike into a stopped vehicle on Circle Drive West at Boulder Hill Pass at about 11:35 a.m. July 27, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. Kevin A. Fox was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for his injuries, the sheriff’s office said.

Wallet stolen from golf cart
A Naperville man reported his wallet was stolen after he left it in a golf cart sometime between 5 and 6 p.m. July 28 at Blackberry Oaks Golf Course, 2445 Kennedy Road, Bristol, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. The man reported the wallet stolen the next day when he returned to obtain it.

Curfew Violation
A 15-year-old girls was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol and curfew violation after deputies found her walking along Route 71 near Route 47 at 2:15 a.m. July 29, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.
