Chicago Man Gets 7 Years for Selling Heroin
Stanley McQueen, another dealer had traveled to Yorkville to sell 15 grams of the drug, State's Attorney Eric Weis said.
A 25-year-old Chicago man was sentenced to 7 years in prison for selling heroin to police in March, Kendall County State's Attorney Eric Weis said in a news release.
Stanley McQueen, of the 200 block of North Karlov Avenue, and another person traveled to Yorkville to sell 15 grams of heroin to Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team, Weis said.
Kendall County Judge John Barsanti sentenced McQueen to 7 years in prison for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance after a sentencing hearing. He also will serve 3 years of parole.

Weis complimented the police work in the case.
“Their work has sent a message that selling heroin in Kendall County will not be tolerated and will, hopefully, act as a deterrent to others who would contemplate committing the same offense," Weis said in the news release.

Assistant State's Attorney Frank Gorup prosecuted the case.
