Retail Theft Charged
Julian A. Gonzalez, 31, of the 4100 block of Klatt Street, Plano, was charged with retail theft after Yorkville police said $183 worth of clothing was taken from a store in the 900 block of Erica Lane around 5 p.m.

Hand Tools Found
Hand tools with a tool belt were found in the 200 block of Dickson Court and turned into police at about 2:15 p.m.

Pumpkins Damaged
Two pumpkins were reportedly damaged in the 1400 block of Orchid Street at about 7:30 a.m.
Charges Filed in Accident
Alex G. Traintafillow, 23, of the 300 block of Olsen Street, Yorkville, was charged with following too closely and leaving the scene of an accident about 1:15 p.m. Traintafillow rear-ended another vehicle at Heustis and Van Emmon streets and left the scene, Yorkville police said.
Charges Related to Accidents
- Katharine D. Malloy, 31, of the 3800 block of Munson Court, Plano, was charged with driving without insurance and following too closely after an accident at about 4:50 p.m. at Route 47 and Wheaton Avenue, police said.
- David Scholtz, 21, of the first block of Jack Street, Plano, was charged with disobeying a traffic signal after an accident about 2:30 p.m. at Route 34 and Eldamain Road, police said.
Yard Decorations Stolen
Four Halloween decorations were stolen between 6:15 and 7 p.m. from a front yard in the 900 block of South Main Street, police said. The combined value of the decorations was estimated at $50.
Retail Theft Alleged
Three juveniles were charged with retail theft after police said they stole clothing from a store in the 800 block of Erica Lane at about 4:50 p.m.
DUI Charged
Kenneth J. Kuefler, 64, of the 2900 block of Grove Road, Oswego, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at about 9:30 p.m. at routes 127 and 71, police said.
