Criminal damage to property

Yorkville police took a report of criminal damage to property that occurred between April 12 and April 16 at 2 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Bridge Street. Two electrical boxes and a meter cover were damaged with signs of possible pry marks.

A female juvenile 17, was arrested at 3 p.m in the 1600 block of Beecher Road and charged with retail theft in multiple incidents that occurred between April 8 and April 12, said Yorkville Police. $201.08 was reported stolen in cosmetics, clothing and food.

Yorkville Police took a report of aggravated identity theft and deceptive practices that occurred between the end of Feb. 2013 and April 15, 2013. The victim reported approximately a $12,000 loss and had several unauthorized transactions on credit cards.

Sunday, April 14

Residential burglary

Yorkville police took a report for a residential burglary that occurred at 2:25p.m. in the 2900 block of Melehan Boulevard. Cans of beer were removed from the residence.

Theft

Yorkville police are investigating a reported theft that occurred at 10:35 a.m. in the 300 block of Woodworth Street. A victim reported a theft of $240 from a purse.

Friday, April 12

Driving without a valid license

Micahel D. Alfieri, 22, of the 200 block of Burtram Drive, Yorkville, was arrested at 7:25 p.m. at Route 47 and Route 34 and charged for driving without a valid license, said Yorkville police. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
