Another Man Charged in 2011 Armed Robbery

Marquette L. West, 19, was charged in an incident where he and two other offenders threatened a store clerk with a handgun and baseball bat.

Another suspect has been charged with armed robbery from an incident in 2011, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

On June 2, 2011, three suspects armed with a handgun and baseball bat entered a convenience store located in the 0-100 block of Light Road, Oswego and threatened the clerk, according to the Sheriff's office. They stole cash and Illinois Lottery scratch-off tickets.

On March 12, 2013 Marquette L. West, 19, with no address provided, was charged with two counts of armed robbery, a class x felony.

West was already in custody at the Kendall County Jail on an unrelated manner and remains there with a bond of 10 percent of $300,000 posted by a judge, said the Sheriff's office. 

This is the second suspect charged in this incident.

In December 2011, Jubari T. Tuggles, 20, from the 0-100 block of Fieldpoint Road, Montgomery, was charged with two counts of armed robbery.
