Almost $1,000 Worth of Video Games, Electronics Stolen in Residential Burglary: Police

Tuesday, July 2
Possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, suspended driver’s license
John P. Bynder, 24, of the 9600 block of Corniels Road, Yorkville; Zachary D. Neill, 25, of the 300 block of West Mage Street, Yorkville; ad Joseph Somma, 23, of the 800 block of Hampton Lane, Yorkville, were arrested at 1:13 a.m. at Cannonball and Independence, said Yorkville police. All three were charged with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia and the drive, Bynder, was charged for driving on a suspended license.

Yorkville police took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred at 2:43 p.m. in the 300 block of East Kendall Drive. An unknown person keyed a car with damage estimated at $500.

Residential burglary

Yorkville police took a report for a residential burglary that occurred between 1 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. in the 2700 block of Cranston. $880 worth of video games and electronics were reported stolen.
Sunday, June 30
Residential burglary
Yorkville police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred at 8:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Parkside Lane. A GPS valued at $350 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked inside the garage.
No valid driver’s license
Cristian S. Carillo-Herrera, 21, of the 600 block of Searle, Plano, was arrested at 9:35 p.m. at Route 34 and Isabel Road and charged for driving without a valid license, said Yorkville police.
Saturday, June 29
DUI, warrant
Brent A. Hutchinson, 24, of the 600 block of Hampshire Drive, Hampshire and Lauren J. Stone, 22, were arrested at 2:30 a.m. at Mulhern Court and East Kendall Drive, said Yorkville police. Hutchinson, the driver, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Stone, the passenger, was charged with a warrant out of Dekalb County.
Domestic battery
James F. Bank, of the 100 block of Colonial Parkway, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery after pushing a younger family member in the chest, said Yorkville Police. He was reportedly intoxicated and throwing items around the home when the argument began.
Aggravated assault
Yorkville police are investigating a reported aggravated assault that occurred at2:45 p.m. in the 200 block of River Street.
Friday, June 28
Burglary to motor vehicle
Yorkville police took a report for a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred at 1 a.m. in the 1800 block of County Hius Drive. A laptop valued at $2,000 was stolen.
Thursday, June 27
Retail theft
Brian T. Evers, 20, of the 600 block of Hickory Street, Sugar grove, was cited at 6:12 p.m. in the 900 block of Erica Lane with retail theft of a wallet valued at $28, said Yorkville police. He was released on notice.
Hit and run
Yorkville police are investigating a reported hit and run accident that occurred at 5:30 p.m. at Aspen Lane and John Street.
