$150 Stolen from Car Wash Change Dispenser: Police

Tuesday, April 2

Warrant

Cassandra M. McKenna, 21, of the 300 block of Mulhorn, Yorkville, was arrested at 10:29 a.m. at Route 47 just north of Galena Road and charged with a warrant out of DuPage county for a failure to appear on an aggravated assault charge, said Yorkville police. She was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Monday, April 1

Attempted burglary

Yorkville police are investigating an attempted burglary that occurred between 3 p.m. on March 20 and 9:15 a.m. on April 1 in the 1400 block of South Bridge Street. Nine padlocks were cut and three others were attempted to be cut. Entry to nine storage units was obtained, but nothing has been reported missing.

Theft

• Yorkville police responded to a reported theft that occurred between 9:30 a.m. on March 30 and 6:45 a.m. on April 1 in the 2300 block of Tisus Drive. An unknown person(s) took lumber, valued at about $252.
• Yorkville police responded to a reported theft that occurred between 9:45 a.m. on March 30 and 7:00 a.m. on April 1 in the 2200 block of Lavender Way. An unknown person(s) took lumber, valued at about $150.

DUI

Franklin Green, 30, of the 300 block of Mulher Court, Yorkville, was arrested at 1:51 a.m. at Routes 34 and 47 and charged with driving under the influence, said Yorkville police.

Saturday, March 30

No valid driver’s license

Jesus Govea-Hernandez, 34, of the 300 block of East East Street, Seneca, was arrested at 1:03 p.m. at Route 71 and Timbercreek Drive and charged for driving without a valid license, said Yorkville police.

Theft

Yorkville police responded to a reported theft that occurred 6:26 p.m. at a car wash in the 600 block of Center Parkway. An unknown person stole $150 from the car wash change dispenser.
