Letter to the Editor: St. Pat's Corpus Christi Procession
St. Patrick's Church leaders recount annual event.
On behalf of Fr. Matthew Lamoureux, MIC, Pastor, Fr. Michael Callea, MIC, Parochial Vicar and the entire St. Patrick community, we would like to say thanks to the United City of Yorkville for helping us with our Procession. Mayor Gary Golinski, City Administrator Bart Olson, Administrative Secretary Bonnie Olsem were great to work with from the City.
An estimated 200 people participated. St. Patrick has a special gift in the Eucharist. We wanted to share that gift and it’s blessings with all. Many people along the Procession route came out to welcome us and even join in. This is an annual event in Yorkville to honor of the Feast of Corpus Christi.
