Richard J. Mau, Jr., age 52 of Plano, passed away on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at his home. He was born on Dec. 4, 1959 in Aurora, the son of Richard J. and Marjorie (Fatland) Mau, Sr.
Richard was a 1978 graduate of Newark High School in Newark, Ill. Mr. Mau was a Veteran of the United States Army having served from 1980 through 1984. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and many dear friends.

Richard is survived by his brother, Martin (Billie) Mau of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; his sister, Cynthia Mau of Minneapolis, Minn.; his nephew, John Mau and niece, Cierra Mau, both of Lawrenceburg, Tenn..
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Marjorie Mau, Sr.

A Graveside Service will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at the Helmar Lutheran Cemetery, 10820 Helmar Road in Newark, Ill..
