Obituary: Neil Eugene Norris

Neil Eugene Norris: Aug. 19, 1938 - Nov. 17, 2012.

Neil Eugene Norris, age 74 of Yorkville passed away on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012. He was born on Aug. 19, 1938 in Aurora, the son of John S. and Olivia (Schuring) Norris.

Neil was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Yorkville. Mr. Norris served his country proudly as a member of the United States Navy. He was formerly employed as a General Manager for corrugated box companies, until his retirement. Neil was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Neil is survived by his children, Scott Norris of Crystal Lake, IL, Kelly Marie (Gary) Norris-Fullett of Naperville, IL and Jack (Marianne) Norris of Aurora, IL; his grandchildren, Sean Norris, Sydney Fullett and Lana, Dana and Nathan Norris; his sister, Tes (Mike) Shick of Bristol, IL; his brother-in-law, Gene Terry of Bristol, IL; his former wife, Rosemary Graham Norris, the mother of his children; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Olivia Norris and his sister, Carol A. Terry.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 East Countryside Parkway in Yorkville, IL with Father Matthew Lamoureux, M.I.C., officiating. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Bristol, IL.

Friends may visit from 4:00 until the Hour of Service on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
