Mary A. Kobos, age 69 of Plano, formerly of Justice, Ill. passed away on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at Hillside Rehab and Care Center in Yorkville. She was born on May 7, 1943 in Chicago, the daughter of Edward and Marie (Mackowiak) Kulich.
Mary was united in marriage to Mr. Stanley Walter Kobos and they spent many happy years together until his passing in 2006. Mrs. Kobos was a secretary, for many years, at Central Steel. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Plano. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed.

Mary is survived by her children, Karen Marie (Mark) Wilson of Plano, and Michael Kobos of Las Vegas, Nevada; her grandchildren, Stephanie Marie (Scott) Tanner of Coleman, Mich., Krysta and Nicole Wilson of Plano, and Sarah Kane of Farmington Hills, Ill.; her great-grandchild, Aengus Tanner; also many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Marie Kulich; her husband, Stanley Kobos; and several siblings.

A Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dece. 3, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1001 North Center Avenue, Plano. Private interment took place in the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elmwood.
Visitation was held on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South Street in Plano.
