Obituary: Lydia F. Reinboldt Krause

Lydia F. Reinboldt Krause, 82, June 18, 1930 - Jan. 29, 2013.

Lydia F. Reinboldt Krause, age 82 of Geneva, formerly of Yorkville, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at The Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights. She was born on June 18, 1930 in Yorkville, the daughter of Joseph Carl and Frances (Wright) Reinboldt.

Lydia was united in marriage on Nov. 22, 1963 to Mr. John A. Krause and they spent the next 22 years together until his passing in 1985. Mrs. Krause was a second-grade school teacher with the Schneider Elementary School in North Aurora. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening and traveling, but spending time with her family was the most important part of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Lydia is survived by her sons, John Michael (Kirsten) Krause of Arlington Heights and David (Conni) Halffield of Naperville; her grandchildren, Corinne and James Krause and Claire and Zachary Halffield; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Frances Reinboldt; her husband, John A. Krause; her siblings, Joyce Reinboldt Schlapp, Olive Lenore Reinboldt Chitty, Earl Wright Reinboldt and Joseph Carl Reinboldt, Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 East Countryside Parkway in Yorkville. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Yorkville.

Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville.
