Obituary: Jennilee Ann Rinehart

Jennilee Ann Rinehart, 72, formerly of Plano, died Thursday.

Larson-Nelson Funeral Home provided the following obituary:

Jennilee Ann Rinehart, age 72 of McHenry, IL formerly of Plano, IL passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012 and is now in the hands of the Lord. She was born on August 25, 1940 in Peoria, IL to the parents of Grant and Rheta (Parkin) Cordes of Washburn, IL.

She married Harry Rinehart on October 29, 1960. Jennilee worked for several insurance companies and also for the City of Plano as its Treasurer. Mrs. Rinehart was a member of both the United Methodist Church of Plano and the Methodist Church in McHenry. She loved being around her family and friends and was known to most of them as “the General”.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Rinehart, McHenry, IL; her son, Grant (Debra) Rinehart, Morris, IL; her two granddaughters, Heather Rinehart, Marshfield, WI and Jordan Rinehart, Morris, IL; and her one great-granddaughter, Madisyn Koehler, (daughter of Heather) Marshfield, WI.

She was preceded in death by her father, Grant Cordes; and her mother and step-father, Rheta and Morris Kuhlman; her daughter, Rennell Rinehart; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00n PM on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South in Plano, IL with Pastor Kent Svendsen, officiating. Interment will be private.

Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the Funeral Home, Plano, IL.

Memorials in Jennilee’s name may be directed to her family.
