Grace A. Bushelle, age 86 of Sandwich, formerly of Naperville, passed away on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012 at her home. She was born on Oct. 8, 1926 in Chicago, the daughter of Christian J. and Catherine (Madsen) Olsen.
Grace was united in marriage on Sep. 1, 1942 in Florida to Mr. William E. Bushelle and they spent the next 70 happy years together. Mrs. Bushelle was employed, for several years, as an Operating Room Technician at Edwards Hospital in Naperville. She was a member of the Sandwich Moose Lodge. Grace was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Grace is survived by her husband, William Bushelle of Sandwich; her children, William R. (Paula) Bushelle of Mary Ester, Fla., Dee Bowles of Sandwich, Cathy (Daniel) Sauter of Batavia, Deborah (David) Beauregard of North Aurora and Geoff (Angela) Bushelle of Naperville; her ten grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; her brother, Roy Olsen of Houston, Texas; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Christian and Catherine Olsen; her brothers, Clarence, David, Art, Robert and Harry Olsen; her sisters, Alice Olsen, Edith Strevig and Helen Walters.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 2465 W. Sandwich Road, Sandwich, with Pastor David Kaul, officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich.
Friends may visit from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South Street in Plano.
