Bernadette C. Bowe, of Yorkville passed away on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at the Hillside Nursing and Rehab Center in Yorkville. She was born in Chicago, the daughter of William and Catherine (Corbett) McNamara.
Bernadette was united in marriage on Nov. 27, 1948 to Mr. William F. Bowe and they spent the next 63 happy years together until his passing on Nov. 28, 2011. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, William (Laura) Bowe of Villa Park and Thomas Bowe of Sandwich; her grandchildren, Courtney and Danielle Bowe, Amanda (Michael) Karkut and William Bowe; her great-grandchildren, Devin and Jasmine Bowe and Lincoln Karkut; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William F. Bowe; her great-granddaughter, Addison Karkut; and her sisters, Mary Catherine McCormick and Norinne Schultz.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 406 Walnut Street in Yorkville, IL with Father Michael Callea, M.I.C., officiating. Interment will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery, Geneva.
Friends may visit from 1:00 until 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 East Countryside Parkway in Yorkville, IL.
