John J. Angelo Jr., 53, Volunteered Throughout Kendall, Enjoyed Helping Others

Vistation John Angelo Jr. will be from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25.

John J. Angelo, Jr., age 53 of Yorkville, IL passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 21, 1960 in Oak Park, IL the son of John J. and Patricia R. (Smith) Angelo.

John was united in marriage February 7, 1986 to Lori Zurawski and they had spent the next 27 happy years together. He was a devoted member of Crosspointe Church, Oswego, IL. 

He was recently employed with Target in its Receiving Department. John was the former President of the YCPAA and was a member of the YFPA. He volunteered for many years, with the PADS program, Special Olympics, and enjoyed helping everyone, especially senior citizens. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and cousin who will be deeply missed.

John is survived by his wife and best friend, Lori Z. Angelo of Yorkville, IL; his children, John D. Angelo of Seneca, IL, Ryan N. Angelo, Margaret P. Angelo and Kalyn M. Angelo all of Yorkville, IL; his grandson, Julian T. Angelo of Princeton, IL; his parents, John and Patricia Angelo of Winfield, IL; his siblings, Mike (Julie), Jim (Dawn), Joe (Nancy), Bill (Diane) Angelo and Sue Poisson; also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John and Emma Angelo; his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Ruth Smith; and his father-in-law, John Zurawski.

Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Crosspointe Church, 8 West Rickard Drive, Oswego, IL with Pastor Bruce Worley, officiating. Interment will be private.

Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until the Hour of Service, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the church.
