John E. Perez, 42, Enjoyed Fishing, Loved Spending Time with His Family

John E. Perez, age 42 of Yorkville, IL passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born on August 24, 1970 in Aurora, IL the son of William and Deborah (Rausch) Perez Sr.

John was united in marriage on March 7, 2006 to the former Jamie Zwart and they spent the next 7 happy years together. John enjoyed several hobbies including fishing, but the most important part of his life was spending time with his family.

He formerly worked with his father-in-law, Dave Zwart at D & H Excavating. John was a loving husband, step-father, son, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

John is survived by his loving wife, Jamie Perez of Yorkville, IL; his mother, Deborah Perez of Aurora, IL; his step-children, Scott Furlong and Heather Furlong of Yorkville, IL; his brother, William (Jennifer) Perez Jr. of North Aurora, IL; his two nephews, Michael and Eric Perez; his two nieces, Samantha Perez and Madeline Zwart; his mother-in-law, Linda Zwart and his sister-in-law, Chrissy Zwart, both of Yorkville, IL; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Perez Sr. and his father-in-law, David Zwart.

Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 East Countryside Parkway in Yorkville, IL.

A Funeral Service will then take place at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL with Pastor David Kaul, officiating. Interment will be private.
