Donna L. Barnes, 64, was the Owner of Curves in Yorkville
Visitation will be held for Donna Barnes will be held on Monday, Aug. 5 at 4 p.m. until the funeral service that evening at 7 p.m.
Donna L. Barnes, age 64 of Yorkville, IL passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, August 1, 2013. She was born on January 28, 1949 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Norman and Marilyn (Powell) Roscher.
Donna was united in marriage on August 12, 1967 to Mr. Barry Barnes and they spent the next 45 happy years together. Mrs. Barnes was for the past 8 years, the Owner and Manager of Curves in Yorkville, IL.
Donna especially loved the many happy hours she spent in her pool, swimming with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed being a member of a Knitting Club here in Yorkville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Donna is survived by her husband, Barry Barnes of Yorkville, IL; her children Sally (Rusty) Barnes-Hyett of Yorkville, IL and Terry (fiancé, Amy Nurczyk) Barnes of Aurora, IL; her grandchildren, Holden and Ellery Hyett; her sisters, Judi (Jim) Yates, Robin Blackwell and Dawn (Chip) Herron; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Marilyn Roscher.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 East Countryside Parkway, Yorkville, IL with Kenneth D. “Chip” Herron, Jr., officiating. Interment will be private.
Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
