Community Update

I usually love Macianos when we get take out from there at work. The pizza is always awesome and we love the pasta and breadsticks etc. It always has been amazing. The last time I actually dined there with my 3 friends it was not such a great experience. We waited about 25 minutes for our food to arrive. Not too terrible, but still it was a little long. I wish I could post a picture of what my dish looked like when it came. I ordered the chicken florentine. We all ordered a pasta type dish and when they came in these giagantic bowls a friend of mine starred down at hers and made the comment that it looked like a pig trough. It wasn't presented in an appetizing manner whatsoever. Mine was supposed to be chicken and mashed potatoes with a garlic spinach sauce. There was about an inch of sauce in this bowl and half of my chicken was sticking out over the top of the sauce and I couldn't find the potatoes. I couldn't even see the chicken to cut it because well, when you press down on it to cut it, it completely submerged it in sauce. The sauce was ok, but it could have tasted a lot better. I felt as if this restaurant wasn't even the same place that I had ordered from at all. I have a gluten sensitivity so I couldn't order anything with dough, bread or pasta, but our neighbors pizza looked amazing! Not sure what happened that night, but I won't be back.
