Photo: Local Democrats Attend Chili Cookoff

Local candidates attended event Sunday sponsored by UAW 145 Fox River Valley CAP Council.

On Sunday, February 19, in Montgomery, local candidates and members of the Kendall County Democratic Central Committee attended the 2012 Chili Cook-off & Candidate Meet and Greet, sponsored by the UAW 145 Fox River Valley CAP Council.  Guests were treated to a wonderful selection of chilis prepared by members of the UAW 145, and they were able to vote on their favorite selection. Congratulations go to the winner of the Chili Cook-Off, Marge Jindrich, and her son Jim, as they won $50.

The KCDCC members attending were: Chairman Chuck Sutcliff, Get-Out the-Vote Director Mike O’Connell, Director of Media Relations Amy Cesich, Precinct Committeeman Kirstine Heiman, and President of the Kendall County Democratic Women Chrisi Thanos-Vineyard. Special thanks go to Lori Haff-DeLancy, chairman of the Fox River Valley CAP Council for Master of Ceremonies.  The Fox River Valley CAP Council is a Community Action /Political Action Council that combines fundraisers with candidate information.
