Operation Santa Giving Trees Available

The toy drive benefiting needy children throughout Kendall County will run through Dec. 9.

Last week, hosted a toy drive for the Operation Santa, which provides Christmas gifts for about 1,500 children in need throughout Kendall County.

This week, organizers are kicking off the Giving Tree drive. Donors take a tag from one of the trees, purchase a gift and return it to the original location by Dec. 9, according to a news release. Giving Trees are located:

  • In Yorkville: and the
  • In Oswego: the , and five locations.
  • In Plano: Fox Valley YMCA

Drop boxes for unwrapped gifts are located at and , both in Yorkville.
