Friends of the Library to Host Used Book Sale This Weekend

Money raised by the sale is used by the Friends goes directly to support the Library.

In the market for some new reading material?

Head to the fourth annual Friends of the  used book sale during Hometown Days, Saturday and Sunday.

The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the library, located at 902 Game Farm Road.

Book browsers will have thousands of titles to chose from with prices from 50 cents to $2, including hard covers and paperbacks. There is a wide selection of children’s and adult books, fiction and nonfiction. Checks will be accepted for amounts over $5; no credit cards can be accepted.

Library users who already have a Yorkville Library Book Bag may bring their bags to the sale and fill it one time only for $4. Library Book Bags will be on sale at the used book sale for $8.

The Friends of the Yorkville Library is a volunteer group of individuals committed to supporting and promoting the services and programs of the Library. The Friends meet the second Monday of each month at 10:15 a.m. at the Library.
