Vote NO on the Recorder Referendum!

One of my favorite movies is The Outlaw Josie Wales, starring Clint Eastwood.  My favorite scene in that movie is where Josie and Ten Bears talk as warriors, and agree to live together.  This campaign has been a struggle in the realm of Kendall County politics.  Many insiders decided to fight against the split and against me.  They chose to protect the status quo.  They do not want Kendall County to progress.  They want to believe we still live in 1841 and there is no need for a separate, elected Recorder.

I am fighting the insiders and the establishment.  I am fighting members of my own political party, people I called friends.  I am willing to do this, to fight against the status quo, risk my friendships and possibly my political future to get this office split because it's important.

The information I have presented to the voters of Kendall County can be found on my websites and here on the Patch in my blogs, and in the video that accompanies this particular blog.  It's only 5 minutes long, put together by me and a buddy.  We will NOT be winning an Oscar, but I hope you like it anyway.

No other candidate or advocate for any ballot question has put out this much information and put this much effort into their race.  I have done this for two reasons.  First, to show that I am deeply invested in this cause because I truly believe that there should be an elected Recorder.  Two, to demonstrate what you will get if I am elected in November to be your Recorder.  I will be a proactive FULL-TIME Recorder.  The public will be informed and protected and will always be my top priority.
