Party in the Park 5k Run

Party in the Park was founded by two teens (Emily and Ben, pictured) coping with the grief of losing a friend to suicide.

It has blossomed into a student-led movement that aims to bring a voice to struggling teens and break the culture of stigma surrounding mental illness.

Last year, Emily and Ben brought over 300 hopeful people together for the 2nd Annual Party in the Park. There is a 5k run followed by live music in the park.

They hosted the first-ever Party in the Park 5K Run/Walk, in which over 140 participants took steps to reduce the stigma of mental illness and encourage those struggling to seek help.

Emily and Ben hope to create a community of caring - a place where teens can enjoy themselves and learn that it's okay to get help. This year, they hope to raise $20,000 - a goal Emily and Ben could never have imagined two years ago when Party in the Park was started.

Help break the stigma and register today!
