Join the 103 Club.

A few years ago I had a friend in my family room talking to me about not living any longer.

She lost a parent, she lost a sibling-she was just done.

We came up with this silly notion of the hundred and three club.

I just threw it out there: "let's live to be a hundred and three years old." We laughed about it. We still laugh about it.

She blogged about it, just yesterday: http://yorkville.patch.com/groups/here-it-is-why-103/p/why-103

What if someone asked you to take the pledge and truly try to live to be 103? To commit to living. To take an oath to stay alive and live life to its fullest. Would you sign your name on that contract?

I think for some people that's an easy thing to do and to give your signature to. I think for others it's not as easy. I would like to make it my personal goal to acquire as many signatures as possible. Make a club. The 103 club. Would you join?

I'd like to make a video of people who will commit to this notion.
People who are dedicated to trying to live to be hundred and three years old.

Here is what to do: submit a photo of you, or your kids, or your pet holding a piece of paper that has 103 on it. That's it.

I'll take all the photos and make a master video. A collaboration of everyone across the world who wants to be a part of this.

This is the beginning of the 103 club. Will you join? Send your photo to: peeka29@hotmail.com.

I would like to unveil this video on New Year's Day. Join me. "Let's live to be 103."

Please join us. Submit your photo today.

Final video to be posted on Patch as well as on the SPS facebook page: www.facebook.com/suicidepreventionservices
