Festival of Trees Ensemble Performing Saturday
The band is made up of members of Oswego, Yorkville, Plano and other local communities.
An ensemble from Indian Valley Community Band will be entertaining guests between 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, at the Sandwich Park District’s annual Festival of Trees held at Timber Creek Inn and Suites, East Route 34 in Sandwich.
The performance is open to the public and a variety of holiday music will be played. Everyone is invited to attend! Although the band is on break until January 6, the welcome mat is out for anyone who plays an instrument to join them in 2014.
The band is comprised of about 35 members from area communities, including Plano, Yorkville, Oswego and Newark. Rehearsals are held at the Sandwich Middle School band room Monday evenings from 6 to 7:20 p.m.
