Share your Random Acts of Kindness with the Patch and spread the word!

A little kindness can go a long away.

And no believes that more than Yorkville resident Jen Slepicka. She is a part of Suicide Prevention Services (SPS), a local not-for-profit that works to, "open minds, save lives, and restore hope through prevention, intervention, and postvention using education, advocacy and collaboration."

Today, Nov. 12, SPS is hosting Random Acts of Kindness.

"It can be as simple as paying for a stranger's coffee. Paying for the car in back of you at a drive through. Or even leaving a random note on a car, wishing the person a great holiday. No act is too small. It's simple. You never know who may need an extra lift of spirit," writes Slepicka in her blog.
