Letter: Operation Santa Thank You

Send your letters to the editor to natalie.stevens@patch.com.

On behalf of the Yorkville Junior Women’s Club , I would like to say “Thank You “ to everyone who participated in some way with our Clubs 21st year of Operation Santa Toy Drive .

Our Partnership with the Kendall County Food Pantry is a close one and ensures that every child we help is truly in need . That being said we were able to provide almost 1300 children in Kendall County with Toys for Christmas that may have otherwise gone without.

The YJWC and the KCFP rely on the help and contributions of our Community every year to pull this program off !

Thank you to Maria Spaeth and her incredible Pantry volunteers that helped this year ! Thank you to Rick Tollefson and Brian Johnson with Boombah Inc . for finding room in their building for us !

One day we hope to have our own space , but until then every year we rely on someone in the Community opening their warehouse or building to us . Thank you Boombah for being SO accommodating.
