3rd Annual Kiwanis Euchre Bunco Tournament

YORKVILLE KIWANIS TO HOST 3rd ANNUAL EUCHRE AND BUNCO TOURNAMENT

            The Greater Yorkville Kiwanis Club is hosting the 3nd annual Euchre and Bunco Tournament to raise funds for its scholarship fund.  Sam Paisley, a Kiwanis member and organizer of the tournament, said that the Club will be hosting the tournament on Saturday, January 29th, beginning at 4:30 p.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m..  The tournament will be held at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club located 7671 Clubhouse Drive, Yorkville.  For those that pre-register, the entry fee is $20.00.  For those signing up the day of the event, the fee is $25.00.  Pre-registration is advised since seating will be limited.  Appetizers will be provided by Whitetail Ridge Golf Club and door prizes will be awarded.  Paisley said that the Kiwanis Club is grateful for the sponsorship of this event by New York Life Insurance Company, and that without this support the event would not be possible.  To register for the tournament, or for information, call Sam Paisley at 815-263-6336 or email paisleysam@hotmail.com.

            The Greater Yorkville Kiwanis Club is a part of Kiwanis International, which is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.  The Club works to develop youth leaders by sponsoring a Key Club at Yorkville High School, and its members volunteer in various activities in the community.  This fundraiser supports the Yorkville Kiwanis Club Scholarship Fund, which benefits a senior member of the Yorkville Key Club who will be furthering his or her education after graduation from Yorkville High School.

            The Greater Yorkville Kiwanis Club meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Panera Bread in Yorkville.  Guests and visitors are always welcome.
