Northern Illinois Hosta Society Auction/Plant Sale

Lots
of hostas and other plants will be the main attraction at the NIHS
Auction/Plant Sale on Sunday, August 10th, at the Hinsdale Community
House, 415 W. 8th St., Hinsdale. 
Plant lovers are invited to come and bid on a wide variety of new and
classic hostas, as well as other plant varieties for sun and shade.  Hosta expert/auctioneer Mark Zilis will
provide information about the plants to be sold, and will also have copies of
his latest book, Field Guide to Hostas, available for sale.  Some plants will be sold for as little as
$5.00, and a mature, desirable hosta will be raffled off.  Bidding starts at 1:00 and ends at 4:00
pm.  Come early to preview. Refreshments
