Kendall Co. Salute To Veterans Steak Fry

The
Kendall County Salute to Veterans wishes to show their appreciation for all
veterans and active duty military by treating them to a Free Steak Dinner, July
19th at the Kendall County Fairgrounds, 7200 E. Highpoint
Road, Yorkville, IL.  The program will be
from 5:00 PM to 8 PM and include the presentation of colors by the Plano
American Legion and entertainment by the Legacy Girls (an Andrew’s Sisters
review).



      Tickets for non-military are $30 with
profits going to Chicago Honor Flight, a non-profit
organization that flies World War II veterans to Washington D.C. to
visit their WWII Memorial.  The Committee
has expanded their focus to also include donations to Concord Place, an
opportunity to supply housing to homeless veterans in the Chicago area, and to
addressing local veteran’s needs.
