The Herdmans are the most ill behaved children in the history of the world. So no one is prepared when this outlaw family decides to take over the annual Christmas pageant! They’ve never heard the Christmas story before and their wild interpretation of the tale has a lot of people up in arms. But then a Christmas miracle takes place, and the real Christmas spirit shows up where no one expected it, in the hearts of the Herdmans. Everyone agrees that it was the best Christmas pageant ever.
First performed in 1988, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a bi-annual classic that, for Indian Valley Theatre, has always been a family affair. This year three different families have multiple members participating in the show, some are new to the production and some are back for another heaping holiday helping of Herdman family shenanigans.
Be sure to get your tickets for the mayhem – and the fun – and bring the whole family to celebrate the real meaning of the season with this heart-warming classic. Performances are Friday, December 7th at 7pm, Saturday, December 8th at 7pm and Sunday, December 9th at 2pm. Tickets are now on sale at www.indianvalleytheatre.com. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. Seating is general admission. For questions please call (815) 793-2310. Tickets will also be available for sale one hour before each show at the Opera House box office.
