Plano, IL – The Homestead Bed and Breakfast announced they will be hosting a Signature Event Open House at their location (611 E Main St, Plano) on Sunday, February 24, noon to 4pm. The open house is free to attend and will feature appetizers provided by M2 Custom Catering and champagne cocktails.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet professionals that specialize in events such as weddings, showers and corporate meetings. Professionals included in the event are M2 Custom Catering, Life's Treasure Photography, Corey Lillard Photographer, Cinematographer and Director, Cobblestone Bakery and Bistro, Instincts Design Studio Ltd., Mary Hunt Music, Sweet Magnolia Bakery, Trish Kinnavy, Commercial Freelance Hair & Make-Up Artist and D.J. Tony LeCuyer.
The Homestead Bed and Breakfast is owned by proprietors Mary Kay and Chet Sergo. The inn is an 1854 Italianate country cottage that is reminiscent of rural Tuscan villas and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Other highlights of the property include a labyrinth, hedge maze and five unique guest rooms with distinctive furnishings, painting, window treatments and custom touches. The Homestead offers an ideal location for intimate affairs such as showers, rehearsal dinners, weddings and corporate meetings and, outside, can accommodate up to 100 guests.
Among the future events at The Homestead are Valentine's Day packages for Thursday, February 14, Friday, February 15 and/or Saturday, February 16. The packages include one or two nights stay at the bed and breakfast and a surf and turf dinner of filet mignon and horseradish crusted salmon, over lobster risotto. The meal will be provided by M2 Custom Catering.
