Jeans and Shoes Drive for Mutual Ground

Tis the season of giving and that is what we shall do!!!

This November and December, Vault Denim West Chicagoland will be collecting gently used and new women's and children's jeans and shoes (and boots) to donate to Mutual Ground in Aurora. Sandy Hurtado will be collecting items at her home (please call for a drop off appointment), at other locations (including a Warrenville location) and local events, and dropping everything off to Mutual Ground together before Christmas. Feel free to leave a note to show your support for Mutual Ground with your donation.

Mutual Ground Inc. was founded in 1975, with the goal of providing programs that focus on Safety, Healing and Prevention for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families. Mutual Ground is now one of the largest and oldest domestic violence/sexual assault agencies in the state of Illinois. All services are victim-centered and focus on advocacy that empowers each individual to make her/his own decisions. For more information, visit www.mutualground.org. In an effort to make this jean and shoe drive a huge success, I am looking for other drop off locations all over the area and would love to work with youth groups that want to help make a difference.  If this interests you, please contact Sandy Hurtado at (630) 283-2116.
If you don't have a donation to give, feel free to purchase a pair of new women's or children's jeans at www.vaultdenimonline.com and use code 199250. You can have it shipped to 27475 Ferry Rd, Suite 127, Warrenville, IL 60555 to the attention of Mutual Ground c/o Sandy Hurtado.

Let Sandy know if you need more information or have any questions. Please view this event on facebook and invite your friends and family! Together we can make this drive worthwhile for the victims being served!
