According to the Kendall County Clerk's office, 12,284 of the county's 64,336 registered voters cast ballots in the primary. Of those who did vote, more than 11,000 took Republican ballots, the county clerk reported.

Election results won't be finalized until validation and counting of provisional and grace period ballots is completed within 14 days after the election, and a canvass has been completed.
