Snow, Freezing Rain Forecast for Tonight
Storm could cause issues with morning commute.
Watch those roads in the morning.
The National Weather Service said a winter storm is expected to bring a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow to the area late tonight and into the morning. By late morning all precipitation north of I-88 should be snow, the NWS said. The storm could bring up to three inches of snow to the area.
UPDATE: The NWS has amended its forecast to lessen the prediction of snow accumulation. At 6:15 p.m. the service said the morning commute may be hazardous due to precipitation, but heavier snowfall would be closer to the Wisconsin border.
