Rosati's, Others to Host Halloween Events for Adults
Yorkville's Rosati's Pizza will host Nashville recording artist and host of RFD TV's "Beyond Rodeo" Susie Dobbs for its inaugural Halloween costume party Saturday night.
Don’t be surprised to see a few rather tall vampires or witches milling around Yorkville this weekend - area bars and pubs are hosting a variety of events.
will be hosting its inaugural Halloween costume party from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday night, manager TJ Banning said.
For the event, Nashville recording artist and host of RFD TV's "Beyond Rodeo" Susie Dobbs will host a concert, and WCCQ 98.3, a country radio station, will attend from 7 to 10 p.m.
The event will have a $5 cover charge.
“We wanted to do something this summer and we were finally able to book Susie so we tied it together with the Halloween theme,” Banning said. “So we’re having a Halloween costume party, games, and pizza specials. It kind of turned into a big Halloween fest.”
Saturday’s event will also include drink specials and contests and giveaways.
“They’ll be all kinds of stuff,” Banning said.
The party will be held in a tent Banning has rented for the parking lot, which he said will have plenty of room for dancing, Halloween games and the costume contest.
After Dobbs did a live interview Wednesday on WCCQ 98.3 announcing her Yorkville visit “our phones started ringing with people wanting tickets,” Banning said. “Everyone’s really excited to come and see her.”
This is Dobbs’ first visit back to the Chicago area in about seven years.
“People are coming from all over the country to see her,” Banning said. “We’ve heard there’s even a bus coming from Minnesota with 40 people on it.”
He’s excited about Saturday’s event.
“It’s going to be a blast,” he said.
