Yorkville Verizon Wireless Moves to New Location, Ribbon Cutting on Friday

If you've been looking for the Yorkville Verizon, don't worry, you're not missing it.

The store has moved to a new location at 122 W. Veterans Parkway, next to Walgreens and across the street from McDonald’s, after previously being located at 1301 N. Bridge St.  

The Cellular Connection, the largest Verizon Premium Wireless Retailer in the U.S., said this new opening makes for more than 65 locations for the company across the state.

On Friday, April 12, TCC will host a grand opening event for the Yorkville community with a ribbon cutting ceremony taking place at noon. Local radio station WUSN-FM (99.5) will host a live remote from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. TCC will be giving away gift bags to the first 25 customers who attend the event. They can also register to win a free Bluetooth headset among a variety of other prizes and promotional items.

Customers can find the following TCC stores within 10 miles of the new Veterans Parkway location:

• 460 South St. Route 59, Naperville, Ill.
• 3150 Tonti Drive, Joliet, Ill.
• 27243 Saxony Drive, Suite D, Channahon, Ill.
• 710 Commons Drive, Geneva, Ill.

In celebration of the new store, TCC will make a charitable donation to the American Cancer Society.
