How did you choose the name of your business? Empower Training Systems was born because that was our goal – to educate and empower the participants of any and all of our programs (local, regional, national and international)

Why did you decide to locate in Yorkville? Close enough to the urban area without losing the small town feeling!

Is there anything you'd like to tell Patch readers? Very few people know about the training I do on a national and international level. My instructor training programs (Self Defense andKickboxing Fitness – see my web site www.empower-usa.com) have been completed by people (fitness professionals, martial artists, lawenforcement personnel, etc) all over the world.

On a local level, I am a martial arts instructor who has extensive experience and education in both martial arts and in fitness – something that separates me from the other local martial arts schools. This provides me with the ability to train my students safely and effectively – exercise/physical activity is a science. I also just received a patent on a piece of exercise equipment I designed –called P2 Force (www.p2force.net).
