Friday, Jan. 27

Door Reportedly Damaged

About $200 in damage to a front door of a home in the 600 block of South Main Street was reported, police said. It likely happened between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Identity Theft Reported

A 50-year-old Yorkville man reported that someone had opened a PayPal account in his name without his permission.

More than $800 in Merchandise Taken from SuperTarget

Rachel A. Mosley, 31, of the 200 block of Cedar Street, Aurora, and Claudia L. Ramos, 20, of the 700 block of Robert Street, Aurora, were charged at about 2:20 p.m. with retail theft, police said. They put $863 in merchandise in the cart and left SuperTarget, 1652 N. Beecher Road, without paying for it, police said.

Traffic Charge

Timothy D. Bank, 25, of the 2000 block of Lilac Lane, Aurora, was charged at about 11:20 p.m. at routes 47 and 30 with driving while license suspended, police said.

Thursday, Jan. 26

Unemployment Fraud

A Yorkville resident reported that someone was using his or her identity to collect unemployment benefits. The victim learned of the identity theft through federal agents investigating fraudulent unemployment claims.

Incident at High School

Two juveniles at Yorkville High School, 797 Game Farm Road, were charged at about 10 a.m. with battery and disorderly conduct, police said.

Wednesday, Jan. 25

Traffic Charges

Johan Jesus Valdez-Pizarro, 26, of the 1800 block of Tall Oaks, Aurora, was charged at about 11:15 p.m. with driving without a valid license and speeding at routes 34 and 47, police said.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

Concerned About Pellet Guns

A resident of the 2900 block of Cryder Way reported seeing four boys with pellet guns, police said. The resident did not want to press charges.

Trespassing to Home Reported

Police said they were investigating a possible criminal trespass to residence in the 300 block of Mulhern Court.

Monday, Jan. 23

Theft Reported at High School

Yorkville police said they were investigating a theft over $300 at Yorkville High School, 797 Game Farm Road.

Traffic Charges

Xin Wang, 43, of the 200 block of Jonathan Way, Bolingbrook, was charged at about 9 a.m. with driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at Route 34 and Eldamain Road, police said.
