Here's what Rick Tollefson, of Imperial Investments, and his associates have planned for the buildings involving Cobblestone Bakery & Bistro and The Follies Theatre.
Crews are continuing construction in downtown Yorkville so The Follies Theatre can open on New Year's Eve and can expand its offerings.
The Follies Theatre Producer Don Grant Zellmer and Executive Director Lynn Dubajic (in separate interviews) recently shared more construction details for the northwest corner of Route 47 and Van Emmon Street.
The buildings are owned by Rick Tollefson, who also owns the Cobblestone Bakery & Bistro business, Dubajic said. Tollefson, who sits on the , is president of Boombah Inc., a sports apparel and equipment company that is relocating from Morris to a building on Wheaton Avenue on Yorkville's north side.

Meanwhile, The Follies Theatre actors are rehearsing for the opening show. The group will hold auditions Monday for a few female dancers for the opening show and for actors for future shows.
