Local Pools Still Open to Counter Heat Wave

With school already in session for most students and Labor Day just around the corner, we know countering this late August heat wave with a trip to the pool might seem like an impossibility.

But that's not the case.

Right in your backyard, Raging Waves is still open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Just a couple towns away, Aquatic Park, 5 Ashlawn Ave., in Montgomery appears to have regular hours through Sept. 2. Check out their Web site for a complete list of hours.

Patch would like to thank Go West Young Mom for her blog listing on area pool openings. You can read the complete entry here.
