Have you ever had a Hardee's charbroiled burger?

Soon you'll be able to right here in Yorkville.

Hardee's will be replacing the Yorkville Burger King, 1510 Bridge Street, which closed about a week ago.

Yorkville Community Development Director Krysti Barksdale-Noble said Hardee's has already submitted signage permits and has drawn up what the site will look like (see picture above).

A Burger King in Plainfield also recently announced that they are being converted to a Hardee's, and a Hardee's also has plans to remodel a former Taco Veloz building in Oswego.

As of now there is no opening date set.

Gross. They won't do any better than Burger King, it's a horrible location. Hopefully they will keep the same nice people that worked there. Although it was slow we went there because my son loved their new Satisfries. Hopefully they'll open a new location in a better spot.

I read the Patch often and I am not the type to comment on things, but I do regularly read the comments. Angel - I am just curious if you are such a negative nelly in life or if you simply hide behind your keyboard. I read the article about Hardees and was all like "Yeah I love Hardees!" I then scrolled down to your comment and it really shot down my "Yeah" moment. You will find that life is much happier for you and those around you when you switch from complaining into complimenting.

Does anyone remember that the building that is now the Moose used to be a Hardees? We have a movie theater where they tore down a movie theater and now a Hardees right next to a former Hardees. History really does repeat itself.

Robyn I was just thinking about that...Pretty funny how stuff leaves and comes back....I love Hardees cant wait to get a frisco!...I was getting the feeling that Hardees was going to go into that location. They are opening 35 Hardees in and around the area from what i read... Wondering when and where the new Burger King is going to be cause you know there will be a new one sooner or later...lol...We need more stuff over here on the south side....Ill take a New BK and a Arby's Please...

I love Hardees! I work in the area and can't wait - I used to go to Hardees in Charleston IL back when I was in college, they actually had AMAZING chicken. Looking forward to them, never been a huge BK fan.
