Yorkville High School Fall Play Opening Friday

YHS presents Kira Obolenski's Hiding in the Open, the story of two Jewish teenagers who posed as Catholic Poles after the Gestapo invaded their home in 1939. 

For six years, they worked for the Fatherland in Germany and remained undetected until the end of the war. Sabina (Rachel Eaton) and Helka (Abby Sprandel) are sisters who struggle to grow into women, amid unconscionable circumstances. 

Come and watch this true story unfold in the YHS Cafetorium on November 1st and 2nd at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students/$7 adults for general admission and are available at the door.
