YMS Spring Lit Fest & BOGO Scholastic Book Fair

The Yorkville Middle School library will be holding their 5th annual Spring Lit Fest on Thursday, May 3rd from 6-8PM in the YMS Library. The event will feature student performances, announcement of the writing contest winners and the Scholastic BOGO Book Fair. We will also have a bake sale with proceeds benefiting KCFP.

This book fair is a great time to stock up on items for summer reading, find gifts for Mother's Day, Father's day or just because, as well as help support the YMS library program. Every item at the fair is buy one, get a second item of equal or lesser value for free.

In addition to our evening hours, the fair can be shopped during school hours Monday-Thursday, from 7:30AM - 2:30PM.  Just sign in with the office, and come to the library.

The library will also be collecting food and fines to benefit the Kendall County Food Pantry.  The students may pay their library fines with cash or non-perishable foods or other household goods, and everything collected will be donated.
