This adults-only program will allow participants to explore the uses of value in their artwork while learning how to make it work for them.
Veteran art teacher Carolyn Freese will lead this workshop, which will go over why value is one of the most important art elements. Participants will improve their understanding and use of it in their artwork.
The class cost will include instruction, snacks and a lunch on Saturday.

The program will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 30 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Historic Courthouse.
