Construction Continues on Superman Set in Yorkville

The movie is reportedly functioning under the codename 'Sage and Milo.'

That Kent family farmhouse sure is going up fast!

Construction continues on the farmhouse that many speculate will be part of the set for the Batman Vs. Superman movie, due out July 2015.

Superman fan websites have speculated that the movie is being codenamed Sage and Milo.

The set is being built near Route 126 east of Yorkville near the Whitetail Ridge Golf Club, the exact same place that the Kent family farmhouse was built in 2011 for "Man of Steel."

According to Senior planner for Kendall County Building and Zoning Angela Zubko filming for the movie at the Yorkville location is expected to be wrapped up by the end of February.

In 2011 filming also took place in Plano, which was transformed into downtown Smallville.

Plano Mayor Bob Hausler told the Chicago Tribune that so far Warner Bros. has not indicated that they will be filming in Plano this time around.

The Superman sequel will  feature Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman and Gal Gadot was recently cast as Wonder Woman.

According to the Tribune, there is no word yet on which cast characters will be part of the shoot in Yorkville.
