The Art of Flowers: Viewfinder
A jam-packed week full of arts, crafts, and lots of flowers. Yorkville Patch photographer Kelly Schulz was there to capture Valentine's Day in all its floral glory, along with local artists showing off their talents.
At , Community Relations Officer Glory Spies is in charge of finding local talented artists to fill the walls of the council chambers. In a separate event Sunday, local artists from Yorkville, Montgomery, and Aurora put together a craft fair to showcase and sell their work. Crafts ranged from photography, painting, knitted clothes, homemade candles and much much more. Valentines Day was this past Monday ,which meant flower shops around town were very very busy. Katydidit Flowers, 155 E. Veterans Parkway, and all were busy making and selling arrangements this Valentine's Day.
